I like the negative spaces here a lot.

Love the lighting in this in particular...it lifts and changes the whole mood, lovely.

The cool highlights really make the whole thing sing. The appearance of ease in execution give it that fluid appearance of a great work of art. Well Done! I also enjoyed your bio, especially the part about not painting because you felt not good enough (this is something that held me back for many years until an artist friend helped me get past all that). You achieve simplicity, and then enhance the element of light allowing the warm and cool colors to become the subject. Very good painting.
