Description
An acrylic painting on canvas.
This one was started on location at Whistler's Bend Park near Glide, Oregon. I was camping for a week and taking part in a plein air event.
Every evening as the sun would get low in the sky it would light up the back hills in a beautiful golden glow, while the foreground was in cool shadow.
I had to paint it! I set up right by my campsite and started this one, but the light changed before I could finish it, so I brought it home to add the final touches.
